Educational Programs

Infants

We offer specialized care for the newborns and older infants that we serve. We focus on early stimulation, gross and fine motor skills and social emotional development with loving and nurturing specialized care.

Toddlers

This program offers toddlers a fun and exciting environment to grow in. Health and safety is a top priority with this age group as they learn through their play experiences.

Two and Three Year Olds

Our open ended environment gives our students the tools and curriculum they require to grow language and cognitive skills while focusing on social and emotional domains.

Preschool and Voluntary PreK

The Preschool and VPK classes focus on school readiness, character development and community involvement while supporting the whole child. Children learn through play experiences and direct instruction.

School Age Before and After Summer Camps

Have your child in a safe, exciting, social environment where they will receive homework assistance throughout the school year along with arts and crafts, cooking and free play experiences both indoors and out. School Age camps are available during Summer Break and all school breaks. Guest speakers and theme related community projects are part of this learning environment.

CURRICULUM

The Creative Curriculum is being implemented in our programs.

The curriculum builds on stages of socio-emotional development, theories of how children learn and think, principles of physical development, and appreciation of cultural diversity.

The curriculum’s framework includes philosophy, goals, and objectives, the teacher’s roles and the parent’s role. It focuses on interest areas and describes what and how children learn. It also focuses on the use of blocks, table toys, dramatic play, art, sand and water, library, music and movement, and outdoor activities to support children’s development.

The Treehouse Village Early Learning Center has a predesigned support curriculum for the above mentioned curricula based on character values. Assessments and portfolios are available for families at all times.
